Comprehensive proposal for a Technology Design Center Nest:
You have been contracted as the architect for a technology design office center, store, and café for a
company such as Google/Microsoft/Apple or similar other (your choice). The goal for this project is to
design an innovative site-specific project with a clear concept, that has a green roof café and a
minimum of two other green building/site features of your choice. Your client is also seeking a
modern building that has interactive community spaces while maintaining company spaces for their
employees to work in teams and individually.
Other than teamwork for the Site Analysis, Program, and Basic Code Review presentation and peer
review, this is an individual project.
Site: 2 Garner Lane, Bay Shore, SCTM # 0500-418.00-03.00-030.000, is a 4.8-acre site, zoned
BUS 1. The uses for this project are either in the BUS 1 Zoning District or they have been permitted by
special permit.
